Breast augmentation, also known as mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure in which the size and shape of the breast are changed by placing implants. Many women opt for this operation because they have always suffered from their breasts being too small or asymmetrical. Other women, on the other hand, want to restore the loss of breast volume after weight loss or pregnancy.
Breast augmentation is performed under general anaesthetic. A small incision is made in the inframammary fold and the implants are inserted above it. Depending on the existing breast volume, desired target volume and skin quality, the implants are placed either behind the mammary gland, the muscle skin or the pectoral muscle.
The operation usually takes 60-90 minutes, depending on the individual starting position.
There are various options for breast augmentation in terms of the size and shape of the silicone implants used. Your surgeon will advise you and make a recommendation based on your expectations and anatomy.
As with any surgical procedure, there are some risks and possible complications with breast augmentation. These can include temporary swelling, bruising, infection, irregular scarring and asymmetry. It is important that you receive thorough and personalised advice from the surgeon before the operation and that all your questions are answered.
After the operation, you should take it easy for a few days and follow your surgeon's instructions to support the healing process and achieve the best possible result.

The following payment conditions apply to so-called self-pay services, which are not covered by TARMED and are therefore not covered by health insurance: 30 days total amount, or the option to make partial payments of your choice with attractive interest rates (minimum payment 5% of the outstanding amount per month). In case of insufficient creditworthiness, no invoice can be issued and the amount is due immediately after the treatment on site. If necessary, creditworthiness can be clarified in advance.
Appointments that have already been made can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Please inform us by phone, email, Whatsapp or a voice message on the answering machine. To cancel an appointment booked online, use the cancel button in the confirmation email. If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment or not canceled at all (no-show), the patient is liable for compensation. If a treatment can no longer be carried out due to a patient delay, the obligation to pay compensation also applies.
