Enlarged blood vessels, hemangiomas, and diffuse redness

The most efficient method to treat bothersome blood vessels, hemangiomas, or widespread redness is laser therapy.

Rosazea cuprose dermanence zuerich 01

In the case of the following changes, laser therapy is possible:

  • Red veins (Telangiectasias)
  • Hemangiomas
  • Spider angiomas (Spider Naevi)
  • Spider veins
  • Port-wine stains
  • Diffuse redness in rosacea

Blood circulating in the veins contains the red blood pigment, known as hemoglobin. The laser beam penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the red blood pigment. This absorbed light is converted into heat, which closes the blood vessel. The surrounding skin is not affected. Laser therapy should only be performed on untanned skin, and consistent sun protection must follow. Therefore, this treatment preferably takes place in the winter months.

Depending on the vascular change, we work with the QuadroStarPRO YELLOW from Asclepion, SP Dynamis Pro, TimeWalker, or Avalanche from Fotona.

Initial medical consultation

If you are not sure which aesthetic treatments are best suited to your individual needs, we recommend a no-obligation consultation with one of our dermatologists. The consultation costs CHF 100 and takes about 20 minutes. This amount will be deducted from the cost of your aesthetic treatment. The consultation costs and aesthetic services must be paid directly on site after the procedure. In order to be able to assess your facial skin in the best possible way, please come to the aesthetic consultation without make-up.

Invoice & installment payment

The following payment conditions apply to so-called self-pay services, which are not covered by TARMED and are therefore not covered by health insurance: 30 days total amount, or the option to make partial payments of your choice with attractive interest rates (minimum payment 5% of the outstanding amount per month). In case of insufficient creditworthiness, no invoice can be issued and the amount is due immediately after the treatment on site. If necessary, creditworthiness can be clarified in advance.

Cancellation of appointment

Appointments that have already been made can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Please inform us by phone, email, Whatsapp or a voice message on the answering machine. To cancel an appointment booked online, use the cancel button in the confirmation email. If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment or not canceled at all (no-show), the patient is liable for compensation. If a treatment can no longer be carried out due to a patient delay, the obligation to pay compensation also applies.
