As we age, the face loses volume and the skin loses elasticity. Particularly the lower facial areas such as the cheeks and jawline show the first signs of sagging – known as "jowls" or a less defined profile. A mini facelift is a modern, less invasive method to gently correct these age-related changes. It offers an effective alternative to the classic facelift – with a shorter downtime and very natural results.

Combination with other treatments

Depending on individual needs, a mini facelift can be very well combined with other procedures, such as:

- Eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) for droopy eyelids or bags under the eyes
- Laser treatments for skin rejuvenation and pore refinement
- Fillers and skin boosters for volume enhancement
- Neck lift for sagging skin below the chin

At Dermanence Zurich, we provide individual consultations with the highest level of professional expertise to determine if a mini facelift is the right step for you.

FAQ

What is meant by a mini facelift?

The mini facelift is a surgical procedure designed to specifically tighten and reposition sagging facial areas – particularly around the cheeks, corners of the mouth, and the lower facial contour. Unlike the traditional facelift, the incisions are shorter, and the skin is less extensively detached. The procedure can be performed under twilight anesthesia or general anesthesia, depending on the extent of the treatment.

The goal is to make the face appear younger, fresher, and more harmonious – without altering facial expressions.

Initial medical consultation

If you are not sure which aesthetic treatments are best suited to your individual needs, we recommend a no-obligation consultation with one of our dermatologists. The consultation costs CHF 100 and takes about 20 minutes. This amount will be deducted from the cost of your aesthetic treatment. The consultation costs and aesthetic services must be paid directly on site after the procedure. In order to be able to assess your facial skin in the best possible way, please come to the aesthetic consultation without make-up.
